The CHIL Project @ IPD

CHIL — Computers in the Human Interaction Loop — is an Integrated Project (IP 506909) under the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme. It is jointly coordinated by Universität Karlsruhe (TH) and the Fraunhofer Institute IITB. The project was launched on January, 1st 2004 and has a duration of 36 months.
Within the CHIL project, the Programming Systems Group of the IPD contributes to the workpackage 2 (WP2). In particular, we are working on autonomic computing aspects in CHIL with special focus on ontologies. Our ontology framework, including a knowledge base server and an ontology for CHIL, serve as a backbone for the CHIL layered architecture.
